Anna Page
Registered Provisional Psychologist
Hello, I’m Anna, and I am one of the therapists here at Well Workshop. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master of Counselling (MC) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Beyond my professional training as a therapist, I also bring years of diverse experience in non-profit, healthcare, and community support settings, working with youth and adults from a variety of backgrounds and personal circumstances. These experiences have shaped me into a therapist who deeply values the strength, beauty, and uniqueness of every person’s story.
I work alongside individuals (9+), including youth, adolescents, adults and older adults experiencing and living with ADHD, neurodiversity, anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, chronic pain, trauma, grief, burnout, women’s health complexities, and family dysfunction.
My hope for every client is that, in the moments we are together, you can slowly invite me into your world, taking space to pause and unpack the burdens you’ve been carrying. Sometimes these are recent circumstances that have caused upheaval in your world; sometimes they are concerns you have carried for years, or even decades. Often, the demands of life keep us rushing along with very little opportunity to engage with our inner worlds. I strive to create a space where all parts of who you are, the psychological, biological, spiritual and relational parts of yourself, are heard, appreciated, and understood. I believe good therapy must be grounded in feeling seen, heard, understood, and accepted exactly as you are. I approach therapy in a gentle, empathetic, genuine, curious, and unhurried manner as a starting point for healing and change to occur.
I also believe therapy should be evidence-based and provide you with resources to journey toward where you would like to be; whether that is reducing distress, managing emotions, navigating boundaries, healing wounds, developing a greater sense of purpose and self-acceptance, or cultivating wellbeing in your everyday life. We will work together to explore different therapeutic approaches that align with who you are and what you need. I particularly lean toward the modalities of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Somatic Therapy. I find that many clients connect with these approaches and find them helpful for their particular circumstances.
I invite you to connect with me and hope I can be a part of your healing journey.
